Pensacola State College will conduct a professional development seminar aimed at informing teachers and staff how to notice signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. The seminar will be held on November 3rd from 11-1 with a tentative location of building 96.

“The seminar will give staff and teachers the opportunity to develop strategies on how to interact with symptoms of PTSD which can oftentimes be of a confrontational manor,” said coordinator Charlotte Windom.

Teachers and staff will be educated on resource materials that are available both on and off campus to PTSD sufferers.
