PJC defeated Arkansas Tech in their final game of the West Plains Tournament, 89-72. The Pirates improve their record to 5-2 as they return home to play in the PJC Thanksgiving Classic this upcoming Thursday.

PJC had a significant size advantage over Arkansas Tech, an all-guard team. PJC head coach Paul Swanson said that it was difficult for his team to guard the perimeter as Arkansas Tech hit 12 three-pointers, but they were able to dominate the post.

10 players scored at least once for PJC. Forward Petras Balocka scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds, leading PJC once again in those categories. Balocka was named to the all-tournament team. Forwards Miles Taylor and Eugene Blue had 14 points each and guard Sasha Parghalava had 12 points.
