Hello faithful readers! With us today is softball playa #23, Judith Husband, pitcher for the Lady Pirates. Let’s see what she has to say as we walk the plank…

Q So your name is “Judith Husband?” Were are you from exactly?

A Wewahitchka Florida…it’s near Panama City,

Q Well then, since I guess you’re not single…how long have you and Judith been married?

A (laughs) Do what!? (laughs) I guess for 20 years!

Q Oh…ok then…that’s good. I was a little worried thinking that you were someone’s husband.

(laughs)

Q How long have you been playing softball?

A About since I was in the fourth grade.

Q I have to tell all of you softball players: That ball is NOT soft. Have you ever been hit with that thing?

A Yes, but I don’t get hit a lot any more since I don’t bat.

Q Well, as the team’s pitcher, have you ever hit someone with the softball?

(laughs) Oh yeah! Sometimes.  I don’t try to though.

Q …well surely it wasn’t out of anger was it?

A (laughs) I don’t do it anymore or else I get in trouble!

Q Have you ever made someone cry on the field? That’s horrible!

A Yeah, I did! I hit a girl on the leg once and she thought I’d broke it. Everybody was scared of me after that! (laughs)

Q Well…I was going to ask you 10 questions, but I’m running out of funny material here. Is there a specific question you’d like me to ask you?

A (laughs) What?
