Champ: The Minnesota Timberwolves.  They won the #1 seed in the West and they look like they will advance past the first round finally.

Champ: The New England Patriots.  They traded and got RB Corey Dillon.  Dillon is a good back that will give the Pats the running game they’ve needed.

Champ: The Florida Marlins.  They are off to the best start in baseball with an 11-4 record.  Looks like they have “repeat” on their minds.

Champ: Patrick Marleau.  He scored a hat trick for the Sharks against the Avalanche in game 1.  Good solid post-season play.

Champ: The Baltimore Orioles.  They have flown under the radar and are leading their division over the Red Sox and Yankees.

Chump: The Boston Bruins.  They were eliminated from the playoffs by Montreal and it was a series that they should have won.

Chump: Maurice Clarrett.  He doesn’t deserve to be in the NFL.  Rules are rules.

Chump: The New York Yankees.  Not often can they fall in this category, but they have started the season 8-8 and are clearly a much better team than that.

Chump: Jeff Van Gundy.  He made some childish, below the belt comments about Lakers coach Phil Jackson.  Rivalry is rivalry but this is strictly mudslinging.

Chump: Eli Manning.  He told the Chargers not to draft him.  Getting a chance to play in the NFL is an incredible opportunity.  Does it really mater who drafts you?
