PJC student Denise Barton engages in the first step of making wax hands at the “Spring Welcome Back Bash” held Jan. 14 in the Pensacola campus. Here, she dips her hand in the wax, creating a perfect mold that quickly dries.

Denise Barton shows off her hands covered in the quickly drying wax.

The event, held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., also featured free food and drinks. Campus organizations set up tables with information for students.

Denise Barton displays the finished product of her wax hands, a perfect representation of her actual hands. The entire process took around eight minutes, start to finish.
