Republican presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain will be making a campaign stop at PJC’s Pensacola campus on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at the Hartsell Arena.
Doors will open at 8am for everyone attending the rally. The Senator will speak from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., at which time he will leave for another campaign appearance later that day in Fort Walton.
According to Mark Braden, the advance planner for the rally, McCain’s appearance will be focused more towards the military veterans in the community. However, Braden says that the Senator enjoys the opportunity to speak to young people, many of whom may be voting for the first time in the coming election.
