Most college students don’t think too deeply about finances. They are often living from paycheck to paycheck or if they are they don’t budget and consume wisely. In a response to this Pensacola State College established the Society for Financial Awareness. Through meetings that SOFA holds students are given the opportunity to learn more about financial awareness and how to plan for their financial future. Before spring break I had the opportunity to speak with financial advisor Andrew McNair about his opinion on how Americans are currently handling financial issues.
