Pensacola State College offers several different resources for students that need help with math, writing, or just a quiet place to study on the Pensacola Campus.
The Math Lab is an option for students who want to hone their skills or need help with classes. The Math Lab is open Monday and Wednesday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
“The Lab is here to help students with any math issues they may have and the best way to learn math is in a group environment,” said Michael Sabraski, tutor.
The Writing Lab is available to help students having trouble with essays or any kind of writing assignment. The Writing Lab is open Monday and Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Both labs also offer personalized service and individual help to students.
“The personal experience with the tutors sitting next to you and helping you along, one on one, is the best way to help the students,” said student Hope Hall.
For students looking for a place to study, the Library where there are computers, study rooms for groups, and a quiet sitting area for alone time studying.
