Shauna Cook The Corsair
Freshman, forward #25 Teandrea Smith from East St. Louis, IL was named the FSCAA Player of the Week with her performances in the games from Nov. 14- 20. Smith averaged 16.5 rebounds, 17.5 points, 4.5 steals, 3.5 blocks, and 2.5 assists per game against Vincennes University on Nov. 18 and Bishop State Community College on Nov. 19. With her outstanding performances in each game, Smith led The Lady Pirates’ to a victory winning 73 – 68 against Vincennes University and 79 – 36 against Bishop State Community College.
