PJC welcomed two new members into its marketing family this summer.
Alice Crann Good and Elizabeth Hewey were both hired at the end of the spring semester.
Good, the school’s Public Information Specialist and Hewey, the Director of Marketing and college Information, have been hard at work getting the college’s name out into the public’s eye. ÿ
Many have seen the billboards, radio commercials, and even advertisements in movie theaters that promote the PJC brand. Most of these advertisements often focus on a student, listing the major and usually a quote, but rumors sometimes circulate as to whether these are real PJC students and not simply someone striking a pose.
“These are real students,” Hewey said. “What we do is work to identify students with good success stories.”
Good agreed, saying that word of mouth is very important. “If you’re having a great experience let other people know. Help get the word out about how great PJC is.”
The marketing department is also promoting more that credit courses.
“My job is making sure that the community knows about everything that PJC has to offer. You’re going to be seeing more of PJC in the media,” Good said.
