The West Florida Public Library has programs for children, both big and small, this fall at the Tryron Branch Library, the Southwest Branch Library and the Pensacola Public Library.
At the Tryon Branch Library, 5740 N. Ninth Ave. kids, ages 7 to 14, will learn how to draw anime, Japanese-style cartooning, at 3:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 12. For more information on this and other upcoming events call 494-7373.
To get school age children ready for Halloween, the Southwest Branch Library, 12248 Gulf Beach Hwy, has a viewing of the Nightmare Before Christmas (2000, PG, 143 mins) at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14.
And not to be left out, teens can enjoy the scary movie Darkness (2005, PG-13,102 mins) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19.

At the Pensacola Public Library, 200 W. Gregory St., teens ages 12-17 can learn how to recycle their old clothes into fun new fashions at the Second Time Cool program at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. Reservations are required, starting Oct. 7.
