Auditions for Pensacola State Performing Arts Department’s upcoming production, “Men are Dogs,” a comedy by Joe Simonelli, are being held at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, April 8-9, 2013 at 7 p.m.

The play is about a successful psychologist, Cecilia, who mentors neurotic patients from a self-help group full of lonely and divorced women. While she suppresses their sadness with her advice, little do they know, she’s just as alone as they are and lives with her pushy mother, who is trying set her up with the local mail man.

“Men are Dogs” is a contemporary comedy that begs the audience not give up on relationships.

Performances of the production will take place May 17-19 & 24-26, 2013.
