Breaking: After a year of negotiating, PSC faculty vote ‘No’ on contract

by Ben Sheffler

It’s taken more than a year of negotiation between the Pensacola State College Faculty Association and the PSC administration to come up with a faculty contract, and when the moment came on Wednesday for the faculty to vote on it, it didn’t pass.

Over half of the PSC faculty voted on the contract, with 53 opposing and 43 approving.

Both sides will now start the process over, with each able to open any two articles of the 18 that can be negotiated.

As more details become available, The Corsair will update this story.
