Champs

The Detroit Tigers.  They went out and signed Ivan Rodriguez on Monday.  Four years for $40 million.  The rebuilding has begun.

The Pro Bowl.  The NFL’s equivalent to an all-star game was amazing this year.  What a game.  The two teams set the record for most points scored in a Pro Bowl game.  Awesome.

The Portland Trailblazers.  They finally unloaded Rasheed Wallace.  Wallace was traded to Atlanta for Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Theo Ratliff.  It’s about time they got him out of there.

Vijay Singh.  He looked very good as he took a victory at Pebble Beach.  Now if the PGA could just find consistent challenges for Woods.

The Duke Blue Devils.  They are truly playing like a No.1 team.  That game against North Carolina was absolutely incredible.  Pulling off big wins like that shows that they may have what it takes to win it all this year.

The NHL. They are having a meeting in Las Vegas to try to decide how to fix hockey.  How disgusting is it that they have let the sport slip so bad that they have to meet to try and figure out ideas of how to fix it?

Luis Martinez.  Martinez is a pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers.  He just turned himself in on accusations that he shot a man over a parking spot.  What a joke.

MLB.  The grand jury is investigating whether or not players have been given the steroid THG.  No matter how hard they try, Major League Baseball cannot escape steroid problems.

LeBron James.  Dude needs to make up his mind.  He also needs to accept the NBA’s invitation and take part in the dunk contest.  That’s what the fans want to see.

The court system.  The fact that the courts ruled in favor of Maurice Clarrett is a travesty.  Obviously the court system worries nothing about tradition.
