PJC Baseball had some good news on Friday, despite their loss to Daytona Beach in the first round of the State Tournament in Kissimmee.

Pirate sophomore infielder Bridger Hunt and sophomore pitcher Logan Williamson were named to the FCCAA First Team All-State Baseball Team.

PJC Closer Phillip Lawhorn was also named the FCCAA Fireman of the Year, the award given to the best reliever in the state.

First-baseman Bo Williams was chosen for the second team All-State.
