The PJC women’s basketball traveled on the road to play Gulf Coast Community College Saturday night and came away disappointed, losing 92-58.

Gulf Coast was clearly a team PJC head coach Chanda Rigby and her staff were focusing on in the Panhandle Conference, and the Lady Pirates executed their gameplan of stoping the Lady Commodores in transition. However, Rigby said that they did a poor job of defending the perimeter and allow Gulf Coast to make too many 3-pointers.

Sierra Highgate led PJC with 13 points and Victoria Hunt followed with 12 points.
