The Lady Pirates have been named the top team in the nation again this week in the NJCAA polls. The Ladies, who are undefeated in 23 straight games, have held the position for two months. They also top the FCCAA polls, along with Northwest Florida, Chipola, Gulf Coast and Tallahassee in the top five slots, making the Panhandle conference the toughest in the state.
The men’s team has moved up in the state poll to the No. 5 position, behind No. 1 Chipola and No. 4 Northwest Florida.
