“Give anyone five minutes of your time,” was one of MTV dating coach Adam Ladolce’s favorite pieces of advice to give during his one-hour presentation on ‘Being the Life of the Party: Alcohol Free.’
Ladolce visited Pensacola State College’s main campus to give students and staff advice of how to grab the attention of the opposite sex and hope that it could lead to a possible relationship.
His first main point concentrated on large groups that would go out and focus mainly on “getting hammered” and “getting laid.” He seemed to grasp the attention of the PSC baseball team who sat front row and would shout back answers to Ladolce’s questions.
Ladolce has been a dating coach for five years and he has been traveling the country and teaching youths about how to have a good time without consuming any alcohol.
He also talked about the top three greatest fears that people our age encounter: Public Speaking, rejection and death.
Ladolce shared his high school and college stories that allowed him to realize what he was actually good at: coaching people to date.
He said “I used to do what everyone else was doing, it was the ‘cool’ thing to do,” and he would party and drink like there was no tomorrow.
Another main point he brought up frequently is the 1 for 1 Challenge, which is: for every single day of your life, meet one new person. “Meeting new people help build confidence and confidence comes from success.”
Ladolce encouraged students and troubled adults to read his book “Being Alone Sucks” and to keep up with his new talk show “Go Talk to Her.”
