The PJC Baseball team defeated Panhandle Conference rival Okaloosa-Walton College on March 29, 9-3.

Tied 3-3 going into the bottom of the 6th inning, the Pirates rallied for 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th to lead 8-3, then added an insurance run in the bottom of the 7th.

PJC improved its record to 26-10, and 6-3 in conference play.

The Pirates next stop is March 30 at OWC, followed by a three-game series against Chipola on April 1, 2 and 3.

The Lady Pirates went 3-2 in the 2005 National Fast-pitch Coaches Association Leadoff Challenge in Lagrange, GA on March 11-13.  PJC lost in the tournament semi-finals to Chattanooga State 9-4.

The Lady Pirates have gone 1-3 so far in conference play, but hope to make a turn around in their upcoming games against Chipola on March 31, and North Florida on April 6.
