Take a trip to Mars and see the planet’s spectacular polar ice caps, sprawling extinct volcanoes, vast meteorite craters and huge canyons. Go on a Voyager encounter, touring Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto. Tune to WSKY: Radio Station of the Stars.
All this and more is featured at the Pensacola Junior College Planetarium and Space Theatre that reopened June 5.
The planetarium presents two shows a week, 9 a.m. Tuesdays and 10 a.m. Thursdays. At this time, show reservations are available for groups only. The planetarium seats 107 with extra space for wheelchairs.
Tickets are $3.50 for pre-K, $4.50 for K-12, and $5.50 for all others.
The PJC Planetarium and Space Theatre is in Building 21 at the southwest corner of the Pensacola campus on Airport Boulevard.
