The PJC Women’s Basketball team had a chance to pull into second place in the Panhandle Conference with a road win over Okaloosa Walton College but instead lost 68-53, falling into a tie for third place against Tallahasse, whom PJC will play next Wednesday night.

Poor shooting plagued the Lady Pirates throughout the game. Victoria Hunt was the team’s leading scorer with just 12 points.

The Lady Pirates also failed to defend the perimeter as the Lady Raiders made 12 3-point field goals.

The Lady Pirates will return home to play North Florida on Saturday. Tip off at 1:00 p.m.
