Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney campaigned at the Pensacola Civic Center downtown Pensacola Saturday Oct. 27.

Doors opened at 9:15 a.m. where thousands of people came to hear what Romney had to say about his campaign.

Two hours later, the civic center was almost full. There was a section of people wearing free red, white and blue T-shirts to create the American Flag across the arena implying patriotism in Pensacola.

A prayer started the ceremony followed by projection screens that flashbacked Romney’s life and his campaign over the last year.

Then, Florida Senator Mark Rubio and Congressman Connie Mack IV took the stage and each spoke critically about President Barrack Obama while revving up the crowd for the arrival of Romney, who will “be the change that America needs financially and economically.”

After arriving 35 minutes late, Romney burst into the civic center and made his way to the stage.
“All across America people are recognizing that this is a critical time for the country,” he started. “We are facing big problems and from that we have big opportunities. Four years ago, President Obama spoke about big things and now he has been reduced to talk about small things. So he speaks about characters on Sesame Street and silly hurricanes and attacks on me,” he added.

Romney attacked Obama for the next half hour and soon had the crowd chanting “10 more days, 10 more days!” compared to Obama’s chant of “four more years!”

He kept the crowd energized and reminded Florida that it was the first day for early voting and encouraged Republicans to go and vote for a new America.
