PJC student Braden Bowers, 18, was killed Thursday in an auto accident on I-10.
Bowers was driving in the eastbound lane when a van began to merge into his lane, forcing him to swerve. He lost control of his vehicle and spun into the westbound lane, where he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Bowers was an art major and scholarship recipient at PJC.
