The Medical Career Fair was held for the second time showcasing many of the medical programs that are offered at PJC’s Warrington Campus. Potential students were escorted to the exhibits by Radiography students.

PJC resources also had booths set up for new and old students to view such as the Testing Center, Financial Aid, VA, Education Opportunity Center, and Awareness booths of smoking and teenage sex.

Visitors to the exbo, were given the rare opportunity to meet and speak with faculty and students from the programs. The visitors could ask question about where a degree from the programs offered at PJC could lead them in the future such as job opportunities and other career advancements.

Those who attended were given the opportunity to fill out an application and put it in a box for a chance to win a scholarship.

Programs that don’t involve patient care were also at the exhibit such as Health Service Management, Medical Records Transcription, Medical Office Administration, Health Information Management, and Biller/Coder.

The Exbo was run by Dr. Marilyn Coseo of the radiography program whose main mission of hosting the exbo is to reach out to the community and show off PJC’s programs that don’t take years of schooling to complete, which can lead to an abundant of job opportunities.

Check out the photos taken at the exbo in our photos on flicker. If you are curious about certain programs and missed out on the exbo go to PJC’s website, all of the programs packets, prerequisites, and faculty email addresses are listed.
