The Lady Pirates basketball team is No. 1 in the nation for the second straight week in the National Junior College Athletic Association poll, released Dec. 1. The team is also the top ranked Florida community college team.
“We are grateful to be No. 1 in the nation,” Head Coach Chanda Rigby said. “It is a proper reflection of the outstanding institution we represent at Pensacola State.”
The Lady Pirates are undefeated through 10 games, scoring 100 or more points in six games with an average of 98 points per game.
