The PJC Baseball team furthered its chances of a second consecutive State Title by taking a commanding lead in the Panhandle Conference.
The Pirates took two of three from both Chipola and Tallahassee to increase its lead to one and a half games in the Panhandle Conference.
The Pirates need to finish first or second in the Panhandle Conference to go to Kissimmee for the State Tournament on May 6-10 at the Osceola County Stadium, Heritage Park.
PJC is currently ranked #2 in the state.
