The PJC Lady Pirates closed out their home season on Monday with a hard loss 83-54 at the Lou Ross Center.
Ida Edwards had 11 points and 9 rebounds and Kristen London and Shontel Johnson each had 9 points. OWC, though, was too tough on the glass and shooting the ball.
OWC took the lead with an 11-0 run to start the game and never gave up the lead. The Lady Pirates couldn’t get rebounds over the taller front line of the Lady Raiders.
The game was the final home game in the Lou Ross Center before the center goes under big renovations.
