The PJC Lady Pirate softball team dropped to third in the Panhandle Conference this past week, dropping a double header to National No. 1 Gulf Coast and winning against Chipola.
PJC won 4-2 and 6-1 against Chipola in a double header on March 31, and lost 8-2 and 3-1 to Gulf Coast on April 9.
The Lady Pirates now stand at 22-11 on the season, with a 5-5 record in Panhandle Conference play. Only the top two teams in the conference advance to the FCCAA Softball State Tournament May 6-8 in Kissimmee.
The game against North Florida that was rained out on April 6 will me made up on April 14.
