Not impressed.  I’m sorry, was I not supposed to laugh?

“The Beginning” seemed to show no real plot or follow any sort of story line.  The movie seemed to have what it wanted to reveal about the beginning or give an idea of the massacres but failed to ever reach it.  Not to give the movie away, but the whole “beginning” concept was cheaply summed up in the first five minutes.  It seems the director threw in some cool murder scenes to fill the remaining 84 minutes of the movie.

If you want to see some blood and guts, by all means, check this movie out.  If you’re looking for a movie with an actual plot and storyline, keep looking.
