Philosophy Club presents sex offender laws panel discussion April 19

Sex OffendersThe level of punishment for minor sex-related crimes will be the focus of a panel discussion, presented by the Pensacola State Philosophy Club, on Friday, April 19, at 6 p.m. in the Hagler Auditorium, Building 2, Room 252 on the Pensacola campus. The event is free and open to the public.

Panel members Nicholas Power, philosophy professor at the University of West Florida; Pamela Mucci, case manager for Klaaskids Foundation; and Anne M. Patterson, an Assistant State Attorney and special prosecutor and supervisor at Gulf Coast Kid’s House will tackle flexibility in the law and the chances of repeat offenders after single incident crimes.

The panel will take questions from the audience following the discussion.
