The Corsair sat down with Chair Gordon “Flash” Sprague to learn what the role of the Board of Trustees actually is and how they impact our college.

In the auditorium, with the cameras in back, and the College clubs behind their tables as keen-eyed as bats; curiosity had steeled the bustling crowd’s mind towards Michael Ruby. I attempted to understand him before he even mentioned his name, his thoughts; while others, of course, searched for salvation in their phones. Then Michael Ruby spoke. Not with power, but with an insightful self-confidence that said, “this is who I am”, an astonishing normalcy which articulated how his writing reflected himself.

Artemis II: The Mission that Spread Hope

The Artemis II trip was a space mission that sent four astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen on an extraordinary exploration. Aside from the scientific milestones, has the Artemis II mission changed the game for younger generations? I believe so. It is more than a mission around the moon. It is proof that we are more than what we see in our everyday lives, proof that we are just getting started, and that curiosity is far from hurting the cat.
