Pensacola State College’s Literature club hosted their annual Poetry Open Mic on Wednesday October 15, 2025 on the second floor of the Chadborn Library at 6pm. The evening offered an open invitation for students and faculty alike to read their own works or the works of others. The back of the room was lined with tables presenting the various clubs and ways to get involved with the English department including The Kilgore, PSC’s literary magazine, The Corsair, and The Hurricane Review, the well-known international poetry journal. It also included free copies of The Kilgore and the Hurricane Review for those interested in reading the works of the writers who are involved with the Literature club.
