Graphic Design Students Improve the Library’s Walls with their Projects Mike

Joseph Bradford’s Graphic Design II class was given the task of redesigning the covers of a book. The project was simple; choose a book you have read or had personal experience with, then redesign the cover to something of their liking. In all 13 posters created, each student chose a fictional book. Now, their completed projects decorate the walls of the library.

Wednesday nights in Pensacola are all fun and games. These nights, teams get together in different bars throughout Pensacola to laugh, joke, drink, and throw darts. Currently there are about 10 teams in the dart league, and they all play out of different bars in the area all throughout Pensacola. The Ticket 2 location is currently the “home” bar for the team named FTK, and they are as unique a group as their name.

The Son of Rage and Love: An American Idiot Review

This past month, Ashmore Auditorium was thoroughly rocked by the presentation of punk rock opera American Idiot. Based on the album of the same name, the play celebrates the world-renowned band Green Day. It was first formed using the songs written by Green Day’s frontman, Billie Joe Armstrong, and with writing help from American theater director and filmmaker, Michael Mayer. Pensacola State College’s rendition was directed by Dr. Rodney Whatley and presented on the 3rd and 4th weekends of October.

Pensacola State Men’s Basketball Set for Championship Run This Season

Hope and excitement is in the air at Pensacola State College (PSC) as the men’s basketball team has been heating up and currently stands at a 4-1 record to start the season. The residents of this town along with students couldn’t have been more ready for the home opener that took place on November 1st against Santa Fe College, marking the start of the 2024-2025 season. Pirates took down the saints 80-64 in a statement win.
