If you could meet any public figure , who would it be?
Rosa Parks. She was designated to be the face of change, and I think she was very brave to say “Okay, I will.” I don’t think we really know all the things she had to endure as far as discrimination or how hard that job was for her. I think she was selected to walk on that bus and go sit down. I don’t think we all understand that the whole civil rights movement was very structured, and sometimes it comes across that this person was a martyr for no reason. I think most of the people who really made change happen were committed to that, knowing how important it’s going to be.
