Shauna Cook- The Corsair Jan.3 was the first Panhandle Conference Game for the Pirates against Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City. Pirates were off to a great start taking the game until the second half with 3:46 left on the time clock. Gulf Coast put the pressure on the Pirates taking the lead and the win from the Pirates with a 58-54 win. Darren Goodson topped the leader board with 24 points for the Pirates. It was a sad loss for the Pirates but will get a second chance to redeem themselves again against Gulf Coast. Good job Pirates!
