Only two women participated in the first women’s intramural flag football game on Sept. 22. The event was actually co-ed; eleven men played along with the women.

The men’s flag football games started on Sept. 19 and have had a consistent number of about 30 participants play so far, said Intramural Coordinator Doug Rogers.

Rogers says it’s not too late to come out and play. Each Thursday at 2 p.m. on the Pensacola campus football field the flag belts will be out, the cones will be set up, and the referees will be waiting with their whistles at hand.

This is a great opportunity not only to meet new people, but also to get some good exercise in. Contact Rogers at 484-1317 or stop by room 322 for more information.
